Meeting Jesus: His Life and Times

This class was last offered in the Winter 2005 St. Andrew Academy session. It previously offered in the winter 2003 session and was titled, Jesus: Life and times of a revolutionary. It has been renamed and modified.

This class is a journey into the life, words, and world of Jesus and what they mean for us today.  Into what sort of world was Jesus born?  Why did he say what he said?  Do what he did?  What was his mission or vocation?  Why did he die?  What was the meaning of his death and resurrection to his disciples?  Why does any of this even matter to us 2000 years later?
