The Gospel of John
John’s Gospel has long been a favorite of
Christians. Its childlike simplicity and penetrating depth helps us to see
God’s truth in fresh and exciting ways. John tells his story so that “you
may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that
through believing you may have life in his name” (20:31). Entering John’s
gospel will help you to see God’s transformative work in you and in your
life. It will also challenge you to embrace this transformation and commit
yourself to an ever truer discipleship. This lecture-oriented class will
open your eyes to the nature of true spirituality.
This class is being offered in the winter 2007 Academy session. You'll find here downloadable files of the syllabus
and the overhead
slides as they are available.
